Blood volume =  ~100ml/kg (preterm neonate); ~85ml/kg (term neonate); ~75ml/kg (>1 month old); for adults use excel worksheets above.

 

Plasma volume = Blood volume x (1-Hct)

Blood Bank policy for minimal weight for apheresis
