- Assistant Professor of Pathology & Cell Biology
Ed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology & Cell Biology. He’s had a long-standing interest in neurobiology, dating back to graduate school where he worked in the olfactory system and on spinal cord injury. It was during his graduate work that he developed an interest in applying in vitro and in vivo approaches to interrogate molecular mechanisms. For his postdoc, he worked in Gord Fishell’s lab, which kindled his interest in stem cell-based models for studying neocortical development.
